Salmon Roe Butter recipe: This recipe works well with just about any caviar but salmon and trout roes are more affordable and stand up well to blending. Gently blend together one stick of softened, unsalted butter and one ounce of salmon roe in a medium-size bowl. Form into a log and refrigerate until firm. When served allow the roe butter to sit out at room temperature so soften to a spreadable consistency.
